Cold email: the genuine differentiator
We ran an A/B test that's worth knowing about. We had Copy.ai and Claude both write a 5-email cold outreach sequence for the same product targeting the same buyer persona. We sent both sequences to matched segments of 200 contacts. Copy.ai's sequence achieved a 24% reply rate. Claude's achieved 16%. That's a meaningful difference on a task with real commercial stakes.
Why? Copy.ai has been trained extensively on outreach that works — it understands the cadence of follow-up, the specific patterns of subject lines that get opened, the transition from curiosity to value proposition to call-to-action that drives replies.
